Tell whether each of the following statements are a fact or if they are fiction and tell why they are either fact or fiction:
(1) LeBron James will win Rookie of the Year
(2) Kevin Garnett will win MVP
(3) Sacramento will get the #1 seed in the West
(4) Kobe will leave LA after this season
(5) New Jersey will once again win the East

(1) Fact, Carmelo and Wade are right on his tail but if LeBron can lead his team to the playoffs he is a sure lock for the award especially being only the 3rd rookie ever to average 20/5/5 and he is doing it straight out of highschool.
(2) Fact, Duncan is now on the injured list so KG basically has that award all locked up.
(3) Fiction, Wolves will get the #1 seed.
(4) Fact, Kobe will be playing somewhere else then LA next year. The only way he would stay is if LA wins the championship and I just dont see that happening this year.
(5) Fiction, Detroit or New York are coming out of the East.

(1) LeBron James will win Rookie of the Year
FACT- No one else will come close in the voting.
(2) Kevin Garnett will win MVP
FACT- Flat out better than everyone.
(3) Sacramento will get the #1 seed in the West
FICTION- Webber coming back might be bad for team chemistry.
(4) Kobe will leave LA after this season
FACT- He's not staying.
(5) New Jersey will once again win the East
FICTION- Not this year. Detroit, or Milwaukee.

It won't be. He's been playing with the team now that he isn't injured, it's just that suspention thats keeping him from playing.

1) Fact, this kids amazing. Sure Carmelo has a playoff team but what this kid has done has been much more impressive.
2) Fact. Who else? It's his year.
3) It doesn't matter, TWolves/Kings will both play bad teams and move to the second round so I don't see the big deal.
4) Fact. Kobe himself said he was leaving...It's a done deal.
5) Fact, great chemistry.

Wolves just had an offnight, it happens to everyone. They were too confident and the media is putting up way too much hype on this team. I just think that they were getting too cocky. Flip will get them back in shape for the Dallas game on Wednesday.

All fact but New Jersey winnin the EAST. The Pacers I think are just too good for the Nets. They have a better down low presence and will beat em up inside.
Kobe should leave, LA is gay and he should look to rebuild a new team.
I think the Mavs hace a realistic shot at gettin the 1 seed, but it will probably be Sacramento.
Jermaine SHOULD win the MVP in my oponion. Its called the "Most Valuable Player", not "Best Player On Best Team." Take JO off the Pacers and they are horrible. Take KG off the Wolves and they would be better than the Pacers. The Spurs would be about as good as the Pacers, but I dunno...
