If I was New Jersey, Id sign a solid point, then do it. They dont have a point behind Kidd, but dont have a solid big man. There going to rely on Nenad Krstic, a Euro baller. Shareef is one of the biggest kept secrets in the league. He'd average 20-9-3 in the east. Portland needs a leader period. If Randolph could play good on the ball defense, he'd get my vote as a top 5 power.

all i can say is that would be an amazing trade for the blazers if kidd can get and stay healthy this season, but if its gonna happen i dont think it will happen until the season is well under way. thats a monster contract to take on for an aging point guard with bad knees. if kidd starts playing well in the beginning of the season alot of teams are gonna be interested in getting him outta NJ.
