the 7 year contract is payed from smallest amount to hightest.
Example. Year 1. 1 Million Year 2. 2 Million Year 3. 4 Million Year 4. 6.3 Million and so on..
They know he won't play all 7 years. But this way, they can controll their salary cap situation. Brunell's "real" contract amount is the 8 something million dollar bonus.. paid up front. They don't expect him to play 7, it's just a creative way of having him for a nice amount of money.. without takin' a sizeable cap hit.

I wouldn't be suprised if they won 10, 11 games this season. They had a good enough to do it this year, but penalties and line screwed em. Lines good just isn't good at working together and coach will get ride of penalties. Gibbs will get the job done hes a great coach.
