I don't see how you can put Tennessee over Maryland or Wisconsin. Please, expalin that. Tennesee will still be good this year. I can see them going 8-3 or maybe even 9-2 in the regular season. You will probably disagree with me on this one but I think Maryland will be down. Wisconsin I lost money on last year. So until they win me some, they can't get my vote.

LOL
Well, of course I will disagree with you, but as you can tell, I am a Maryland fan. (to quote Lefty "I'm a little Biased")
But I honestly do believe Maryland will be a very good team. The offensive line is strong, witht the best offensive guard in the country in C.J. Brooks (no disrespect to David Bass). The running back tandem is outstanding. The tight end position is deep and Vernon Davis is going to have a huge breakout year. The reciever corp is good, headlined by Steve Suter.
Defensively, Maryland has two outstanding Defensive Ends, and a strong LB corp. Dominque Foxworth is one of the best corners in the nation. The Defensive Tackles and secondary are the major question marks, yet Friedgen thinks that so far into this season, the secondary is better than last years. (Impressive because all 4 of last year startes in the secondary were all-ACC.)
Also, the special teams unit is the best in the nation, hands down.
But, "I am a little Biased"

1. SEC - LSU, UGA, Fla., Bama, Tenn., Ole Miss...top to bottom, the most solid conference. Except for the Big 12 (which is right around my home) and C-USA (only because it's TCU's conference), there's no conference I'd rather watch than the SEC.
2. ACC - Miami, FSU, Va. Tech, Maryland, UVA...another really solid conference. Also, consider: last bowl season, the ACC won every one of its games...except for Florida State losing to Miami...which is now an ACC school. Of course, I seem to remember that Va. Tech lost too...but whatever. I still think it's a very strong conference.
3. Big XII - Can't go wrong here. With Texas, OU, Kansas, Mizzou, K State, Kansas, OSU, Texas Tech and Nebraska, there's something for everyone here. Hell, some people even like watching A&M and Baylor. (And I may as well mention Iowa State and Colorado for good measure.)
4. Big Eleven - Another one I like to watch. I love to hate Ohio State, plus I really enjoy watching Michegan and Minnesota. The domination of a few teams at the top and the absolute suckitude of some of the lower teams hurts this one, though. (As does the inability to count any higher than 10.)
5. Pac-10 - This one's a lot like the Big 10: Dominated by a few strong ones, with some very weak teams struggling for everything else. Little balance top to bottom. I'm just not that interested in this conference.
6. Mountain West - one of the best mid-majors, easily. Utah is very strong, and the lack of a real whipping boy (well, maybe BYU or Wyoming) puts this one where I have it.
7. Conference USA - TCU, Louisville, Memphis and Southern Miss, all making plays at the big boys (along with the MWC's Utah and the WAC's Fresno State and Boise State) puts this one above the last remaining BCS conference.
8. "Big" East - Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Boston College are carrying this conference. I'm sorry, but that's not enough to qualify it as a major conference in my mind. It should get better next year after robbing C-USA (but losing BC), but this year I think it's weak and honestly doesn't deserve an automatic BCS bid.
9. WAC - Boise State and Fresno State carry this conference above the MAC, which I think was the strongest mid-major conference last year. Decent middle-of-the-pack teams like Hawaii help, but then bottom-dwellers like SMU hurt.
10. MAC - Nothing impressive yet. But it's still worlds ahead of the Sun Belt. Not a bad conference, but so far the one I'm the least interested in watching. Maybe Bowling Green or Miami (OH) or Marshall or someone will do something.
11. Sun Belt - Once somebody snatches up North Texas (my money's on the WAC extending an invite to preserve a Texas audience after losing Rice, SMU and UTEP to C-USA), this conference should drop back to I-AA.

Hell, some people even like watching A&M and Baylor. (And I may as well mention Iowa State and Colorado for good measure.) Come on, give the Aggies a chance. They beat Wyoming 31-0. GO TEXAS A&M!!!! Next to LSU, A&M is my favorite.

I used to like A&M. Really, I did. But I've always been a bigger UT fan. And besides, after what Coach Fran did to Alabama, leaving a team that he talked into sticking around despite the suspension (although I can't blame him for leaving TCU for Bama, especially since Coach Patterson has done amazing things since becoming head coach) for the Aggies...well, let's just say I was glad to see Utah beat them so badly.

Here are the Sagarin Ratings. Notice how the MWC not only is ahead of all of the Mid Majors but ahead of the the Big East (BCS) as well.
