I thought USC was robbed. I thought it should be USC vs. Oklahoma but atleast this year the Rose Bowl is Big Ten vs. Pac 10.

It definitely should have been USC/Oklahoma. When a team is ranked #1 in both the AP and Coaches' Polls and they don't even get into the NC game, that is just wrong.

I was hopin Oklahoma wouldn't make it lol. That would be great easily best team in the nation skill wise doesn't make it cause of last game loss. No but I think it should be USC vs Okla, Okla will beat down either of em but wont beat down USC as much.

I think it's bullshit that USC is #1 in both polls and doesn't make it to the BCS title game. Still, I can't say that they deserve to go more than LSU or OU. The best way to do it IMO would be a 12 team playoff, with the top 4 teams getting first round byes.

I'm happy this is how it happened. Now they will prolly have a turney or sumthin which will make end of season ever better. I don't see why everyones bitching yeah USC is better then LSU, but LSU had harder schedule and won one of the hardest conferences its not like they are 8-5 and ganna lose like A&M to the Sooners, even if its kinda close to that. They deserve it, not as much as USC but they still deserve the shot.

I think it should be a 8 team playoff. I think the current BCS formula should be re-worked, and then used to determine the top 8. No team should be given a bye. A BCS formula that is heavily weighted on the human polls would be good. However their needs to be a SOS factor along with quality wins. The final BCS standings would then determine the matchups.

The final BCS standings would then determine the matchups. This is how I would do it. BRACKET 1 #1 vs. #3 #5 vs. #7 #9 vs. #11 #13 vs. #15 BRACKET 2 #2 vs. #4 #6 vs. #8 #10 vs. #12 #14 vs. #16 That format sucks, why are the top 2 teams from each bracket playing eachother? SHouldnt it be #1 vs #16, 2 vs17, and so on. Just use the format from the NCAA bball tourny.

I think the rule should be that a team should have to win their conference to be eligible for national champion. In a playoff system, that rule doesn't apply, but with the stupid polls-based-on-people-who-don't-watch-all-the-games system, it just makes sense. The big 12 seems to get by on this pretty often (see Nebraska a few years ago, Oklahoma last year).

However last years Oklahoma team was great, and certainly deserved their shot. I can not believe how many of you are saying it should have been USC vs. OU. You can not leave LSU out of it. LSU vs. OU was the right matchup. USC would have probably lost to either of them.

Doing it that way is probably better. -------------------------- Its almost laughable that OU isn't preseason #1 isn't it? USC #1? Thats got to be a joke. OU is the clear choice for the #1 spot. 2. LSU 3. UGA 4. USC

USC a joke for #1? They could go undefeated without there best player (Mike Williams) not able to play.
