how are you goin to say the vince young is better than brad smith. not even close. brad smith is a better runner with just as good of an arm, and his supporting cast isnt half as good. you guys will realize this when you watch brad go into austin and go off on the longhorns in a few weeks. plus young isnt even gettin all of the snaps at qb that's funny where have you been, Mock hasn't played or practiced in weeks, and the only reason Nordgren got in was because it would have looked bad to beat NT by 120...and Missouri ain't gonna do shit v. Texas...but that doesn't mean you have to stop being a fan

If West Virginia were in a real conference (ACC, SEC, BIG 12, or BIG 10) they would be a middle of the pack team and would be lucky to make a bowl game. I can't wait to see them get kicked around in a BCS bowl. Maybe Maryland will beat em 51-0 this year and put the Mountaineers in their place. USC is not the best team in the country, Oklahoma is. As long as the Trojans win their games (OU could beat Texas by 100), they WILL remain at the number one spot. When it is time for the Red River Shootout, I will be hoping for a blowout regardless of who wins. If my theory is correct, SC will probably remain in the #1 spot (and would probably have increased their lead.). Everyone keeps saying that the SOS or quality wins are out, but with the "human" polls being a larger part of the equation now. I think it will reflect those in the polls by the "humans", so when Texas beats OU , they could actually move past the USC's, Miami's, Florida's, Florida St's and LSU's if they struggle in any of their games...

I predict Texas will get Beotchslapped by OU again! I predict txheel is going to be wrong, Texas might lose, but I doubt they'll get beotchslapped by OU

It was certainly a disappointing showing for the aggies. They may not have improved as much as I had thought. Look for Texas A&M to go either 4-7 or 5-6 this year. Next year should be better, but then again this year is still early. They are in a recruiting hole, they don't have the athletes to compete with either Texas or Oklahoma...think Coach Fran will cure that, but it will take a while

Again there is nothing wrong with a little optimism. Will UT beat Texas A&M......probably. Will I still be pullin for A&M to kick UTs a**........absolutely. Will I be disappointed when the game ends......probably. But then again OU will still easily beat the longhorns. So...as long as the sooners win (which I am almost certain they will do) I will be happy. ;D ;D ;D GO AGGIES AND SOONERS!!!! By the way when was the last time UT beat OU? I can certainly remember A&M beatin OU, afterall I was at the game. OUs win streak over UT will continue this year, and will be every bit as humiliating for the longhorns as it was last year. 77-0 would be nice. GO SOONERS!!! well lets see, did you watch the games yesterday...LSU-lucky, D needs some work and QB up in Air...OU O looks good , but their D needs work, think they're missing M. Stoops...and Texas compltely dominated North Texas....and as for A & M beating OU can you say fluke...face it Tiger you don't like Texas so your opinion means squat to me....

Yeah, i agree. I found it interesting that the media chose a team in LA last year as its number one after LSU solidly won the best conference in CFB last year, including 2 games against Georgia, then the team that many considered the best in recent CFB history, i did at least, before the KState game. But it didn't surprise me that the media wasn't willing to fly to Baton Rouge when the could stay in comfy LA to find their number 1 team. Well if you look at college bball and NBA, most of the bias is toward east coast teams...and has been for years What's also interesting is how many writers never even played High School football. But i'm just venting.

Only one of many strange calls. Watching that game proved to me that SC is overrated, even though this was only the first game of the year. SC did not play like the #1 team in the country. Geaux Tigers....Bring on Oregon State. If Oregon St. had a kicker, it would have cost LSU big time and still might in the rankings
