Bills:
Yes I was aware that Micah was 100% solid for KU and that he went (as did Nick Collison) up for a game or three. I'm just bummed I couldn't make it.

"The pimpslappers will get backhanded like the little bitches that they are....... "
Yes - starting this week. And now that the "Down on Bush" joke is old, I'll probably go back to "Barking Spiders"

Radio, I switch between sports, classic rock and jazz
Tough to find a station in Seattle that plays good "Americana". Big fan of Union Station, etc.
I'm listening to "The Lover's Waltz" as we speak.
Also tough to find a station that plays Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, Rickie Lee Jones, John Prine, Joni Mitchell, Steely Dan, Dire Straits, Sean Colvin, etc., etc......

txheel you make good points, even though your FFL team is going to get biatch slapped this weekend.... Highway construction funds on the state and federal level have far underrun requirements for a couple of decades now. Portland would be an example of a city where it is now impossible to get around if you are a trucker. Too many people view roads as strictly a commuting issue instead of recognizing the need for transporting commercial goods. And lower interest rates are by far more powerful than tax rates in stimulating business spending. Speaking as a business executive who employs roughly 400 people, interest rates helped a lot and income tax cuts caused us to spend not one red cent more in the past 4 years.

You're right - Carolina was 8th overall and "only" 11th in rushing defense - LOL.
You're going down, dude!

LOL heels, when Vick runs rampant on a shiatty SF team and Ahman sits on his duff watching Steven Davis steamroll Green Bay, you will be whimpering like a little Tar Hole fan after Doherty's last game...

LOL, I'm going to beat you like a drum. Ahman is not going to have a bif Week #1 opening @ Carolina.

Bills...Supply Side economics, huh? Haven't you heard that Laffer admitted he was holding the napkin upside down? Actually I am trying to figure out which Prez candidate will do the least to the economy.

I watched that whole speech (my son and I had a rubber band shooting contest which I'm proud to say he won...)
A few random thoughts after seeing the last few comments:
"Raid the SS trust fund" - LOL, what trust fund? The only asset of SS is IOU's from the Federal Government.
Funny how Bush is trying to sound like a Democrat (increased Pell grants, spending more on education, etc.) while Kerry is trying to sound like a Republican (reduce the deficit)
I hope most intelligent Americans ignore Bush's attempt to define the decision to invade Iraq as "take the word of a madman" versus "protect America".
I did think Bush did his best job with the English language that I've seen recently.
