Because he is the President probably. He's been getting ripped all week for the lies they tell and the President doesn't say anything, they hope to get a reaction out of him to send a message that dirty lying ad's should not be used, and the party there funded by is going to vote for him...He more then likely trying to push the fight to the President because the people that are making the ad's are all for him. But Bush today praised Kerry's service and that he wants to get rid of these ad's....Thats all that happening.
(And for the record I'm no hardcore Kerry supporter if thats what you guys think, i'm more anti-Bush then pro-Kerry.)

Bullshit? I heard 4 during the last Packers game. Pete even backs me up. People use war terms for sports all the time.
ESPN's Kevin Frazier 4 monthes ago laughed about using Steven A. Smith for a hostage at the Olympics....Never heard anything about that did you?

Staying somewhat on topic. The Swiftboat ad's are lies. This group wasn't even around until Kerry won the nomination. There a group of veterans mad at Kerry because of his true statments that he made to congress in the early 70's. There old bitter men mad about losing the war. These ad's hold no truth. There is no real documented truth behind them and thats why there floating around the media gaining no ground. Your President today said Kerry served with honor and that he wants all these independant ad's taken off. What else needs to be said?

Why? Because it's a war term? We use it in sports.
