How can you not like what Wade's been doing this year? The only reason James and Anthony are averaging more points is because they take a lot more shots during their games(and generally miss more too). He also has played a few less minutes per game, meaning if he played as many as James or Anthony he would have as good of stats or better. Wade also has dumbshit Lamar Odom taking 25-30 shots a game, some of which Wade could put to better use.....so when you are thinking about someone to put as ROY...look away from the two overrated ones and look to the one who has really been producing well with what he's been given.

How many wins does Miami have? Melo right now for ROTY. He has completly turned around a crap team into a almost division leading team in the WEST. Yeah I know they wont stay up there all year but his team is prolly worse talent wise then those other 2 teams plus is in the west.

Carmelo is the rookie of the year by far right now. Lebron and Wade both play for teams with only like five wins.

And coming into this Season Denver was prolly the worst team out of the 3.

WTF....Since when do wins acount for ROY....Just because Wade was placed on a bad team shouldn't have anything to do with him winning. Carmelo will eventually slow down like all rookies do.
And i'm sick of people laying the wins on Carmelo....And it's early, Denver woulden't last against Spurs/Mavs/Lakers/Kings/Timberwolves/
Now this talent talk between Cavs and Nuggs
-Wagner- Always hurt/Less talented AI -Davis- Talented, but acts stupid -Miles- Stopped working on game his junior yr in HS -Boozer- Not much on D, but a good rebounder -Ilgauskas- Bad on D, Slow, and lost minutes to Diop --------------------------------- -Miller- Okay, nothing like when he was w/Cavs -Lenard- Good shooter for this team -Boykins- A fast spark, huge matchup problem -Nene- Very good on D, is a monster -Camby- Can block and rebound if healthy -Anderson- Hustle, and a huge blocker
Coach Bizdelic* -Coaches like it's his last game, gets the most out of his players
Denver has some big pieces that Cavs do not. Eventually Bron/Melo will slow down

What are you talkin about, just because he got put on a bad team? WTF, the Nuggets were the worst team going into the draft so how can you say that. Also, wins don't mean everythin but when his team has 3x as many wins as the others n has better stats you gatta start thinkin maybe hes better? Wade n LeBron r both good, as well as Melo and Melo is gettin his team wins. So unless they start pulling off a lot better games then Melo if stats r semi- close Melo is ganna get ROTY because his team won games. Again if Cavs n Heat were in the west they would still be prolly the 2 worst teams in the league yet they can't win in the east...

- WE thought Denver was bad.
They stole Earl Boykins, signed respected PG Andre Miller, Chris Anderson has just been awesome, Camby is back and playing really well, Nene has also improved....This team is decent, I don't expect them to keep it up, sure Carmelo is playig really well...Sure he has added a new element, but the team keep Coach, signed a few nice players, and developed Anderson and Nene, and have Camby back....
Elton Brand didn't win because he brought the Bulls back, Mike Miller didn't launch Orlando to a great year....Pau Gasol didn't help the Grizz.....I hope the voting goes the statistical leaders in most area's...Give Denver time and they will come down to earth

Yeah they will not keep this up and will have to fight for a playoff but thats much more then Cavs and Heat will do in the east. Right now Melo would win because he is leading rookies in scoring and rebounding so if they went by stats he is winnig that and helping his team. When Brand, Gasol, and Miller won it, they might have not helped there team but who put up the same stats and helped there team that same season as a rookie... no one.

A thing that helps Melo in ROTY ballots is he is the go to guy in a succesful team in the West.
