Lost 4 out of their last 5 games, and this team is at full strength right now so they dont have the excuse like the Lakers do with all of their injured players. The Wolves and Kings both have some of their best players injured and are still playing better basketball then the Spurs are at full strength. There still is a long way to go but I believe that this season they just dont have the leadership that it takes to lead a team to the championship. You can tell how valueable David Robinson was to this team with all of his leadership he gave to the team.

I dont think there's anything wrong with them. Before this "slump" they had a huge winning streak going for them

It happens to just about every team, a 3-4 game slump.

I DON'T THINK RASHO IS THE FORCE THE SPURS THOUGHT HE WOULD BE INSIDE. HE HAS SOME GOOD GAMES BUT SOME REALLY BAD GAMES TOO. WITH ROBINSON THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE GETTING NIGHT IN AND NIGHT OUT.

I believe the Spurs slump is due to inconsistant play.. Every player on the Spuds, EXCEPT Duncan, is a very streaky, inconsistant player. Ginobli, Parker, Rasho, they are all streaky.. thus the reason the Spuds can not get into a rhytum. I could be wrong, the Spuds are too boring to watch, so I only see a third of their games.

Don't talk about the Spurs winning streak, it ment nothing. They beat all weak teams from the east and the west, they didnt play one good oppenent and look what happens when they play quality oppenents? They lost to the Wolves, Pistons and Pacers last weak and that is because they arnt as good as last year and it is mainly because of Robinson leaving, his leadership was VERY important to their championship last year whether you agree with me or not.

Popovich yells DEFENSE, DEFENSE all through out the game and when they need some offense everyone knows that Duncan is his bread and butter and several teams have figure-out all they to do is double team him and have another player sneak up from behind and he will cough the ball or will force a shot and usually get the foul call but will be a 50/50 chance that he will make one much less two. The others Parker, Bowen, Rasho and Ginobili are not consistence with the their play and it seem that they all take turns have a good game every now and then. Popovich also hardly evers subs fresh players during the 4th and it seems that the starters are usually running out of gas when the other teams are running in and out players through out the fourth quarter keeping the pace on a fast running game. I would like to see more of Hedo as a starter and Ginobili coming off the bench as well as Horry and Willis subs for Rasho with Rose backing up Duncan like last year. If Popovich is not going to give Mercer more minutes off the bench backing up Bowen instead of 2nd year man DBrown than I hope the Spurs puruse trading Mercer to a team where he can play for veteran PF like CWilliamson (Pistons) or Aaron Williams (Nets).
