LOL! Maybe if the season ended in Mid-October, before the annual Hokie collapse towards the end of the year.

Tough loss at Pitt last year. After that, the Hokies stopped trying. They'll be alright this year.

They don't play FSU next season, unless they get a championship game and they meet there. I really think they have a shot this year. We'll see, it is all speculation right now.

Do they have a good backup HB? I know they got 2 awesome QB's... one that can start at WR lol Marcus Vick, and they are losing a top WR. I know when it was Suggs and Jones everyone knew they wouldn't be hurt to much because they had Jones when Suggs left, but I haven't heard nethin from other HB's.

I know they got a couple of recruits and I am sure last year's backup Cedrick Humes will be starting. He is actually pretty good. It is not the offense I am worried about. I am sure Randall will continue to progress and Vick looked very good at WR. It is the defense I am worried about, although I am glad most of lastr year's D is graduating. They were an underachieving group. Time to reload. The last two years featured the worst defenses Frank Beamer has had. And they were highly touted recruits. I think Bud Foster works better with more humble recruits. That is designed to be a team defense, not a bunch of individual egos like last year.

ACC - Maryland, if they beat FSU.. FSU if they don't.. Big East - West Virginia Big Ten - Minnesota Big XII - (overall) Oklahoma, (north) K-State Conf. USA - TCU MWC - New Mexico Pac-10 - I think 'SC will stumble.. I like Cal at this point.. They, like the conference, are not that good though. If not Cal then look for Washington State or Oregon State to compete for the top spot as well. (of course USC will be in the mix too, I just think they'll fall asleep twice next year during conf. play, not just once) SEC - Florida Sun Belt - North Texas WAC - Tulsa National Championship - Oklahoma over Florida or West Virginia
