I have to be a little bias. Sorry.
'97 Wolverines
Facts? Best defense eva, backed with a strong reliable Offense.
'01 Hurricanes
Fast f*cking team. Deep all around, could do it all.

I have to say the 95 Huskers. They dominated every team they played. They beat for top ten teams including the so called "unbeatable" Florida Fun and Gun offense 62-24 in the National Championship game.

I dont know about the best team in 1 season, but if ur looking for the best team over a few years it has to be when OU had their 47 game winning streak.

Well, that OU team was amazing (I said that like I watched them), but the Army teams between 1942 and 1949 have an arguement as well.

The Army team of 44 and 45 I think might have been the most dominating because they destroyed everyone they played. The best of all time would have to be 01 Hurricanes because they had everything on the team or even USC this season if Williams is cleared to play.

Can't really say anything for this team yet because until they play the season you dont know how they really will compare to the other past teams

All I know is they only lost a few starters, already being the best team in the country. Also, Linehart and Mike both already superstars as Soph's, another year of exp. is very crucial. (if Mike plays they will be elite) They had an amazing recruit class and had a ton of the top players in the country who could contribute this year. This team has great depth and great starting players. Linehart, Bush, Williams... Will be one of the best QB, HB, WR combo's EVER in college history!!!

16. 1996 Ohio State 11-1-0 21. 1998 Ohio State 11-1-0 I just hang my head in sadness because both these teams were ridiculous in talent. Oh, what could have been.

1981 Clemson Outscored opponents 338-105, including Hershel Walker and defending Nat'l Champs Georgia, as well as Nebraska in the Orange bowl. 22 players went pro from this team.
