What team has the best fans? Don't just automatically say your team. But at least have a good reason why they are the best.

Its likely between Nebraska, LSU, Texas A&M, Clemson, and Tennessee. Obviously Florida, Ohio State, Penn State, Auburn, South Carolina, and Wisconsin have arguements, yet I think between the tournout, dedication, and enthusiasm at those 5 schools, they are above the rest.
Nebraska has sold out every home game since 60something (maybe huskersrule can help me out w/ the year)
LSU sells out and those fans down in the Bayou go crazy
The Texas A&M fans have that 12th man legacy and have not let it die dispite a number of down seasons
Clemson has western South Carolina Tiger crazy even in April. Go there. You'll see.
Tennessee. Well, until you've heard 106,000+ people with southern accents sing Rocky Top at the top of their lungs, you haven't heard a folk song.

I believe Nebraska has 255 consecutive sellouts and have sold out every home game since 1962. I dont think there is any team that is even close to that number. I think Notre Dame is 2nd with about 100 less than Nebrska has.

For the most loyal fans, I gotta go with Texas A&M and South Carolina.

Probably the most respectable fans are Nebraska.

Well, if we're talking most respectable, then I'd say Nebraska, Clemson, Tennessee, and Georgia. Those are the fans that will yell during the game, but you don't have to fear being attacked by them after the game if you're wearing opposing teams colors.
West Virginia fans could learn a thing or two.

Iowa. Bowl committes love Iowa because they have a loyal fan base. We brought 47,000 to the Orange Bowl and probably 30,000 to Tampa. The Gators accepted the Outback Bowl invitation a week before Iowa did

I have heard from more than 1 Nebraska faithful that local Nebraska businesses will buy Nebraska tickets so that it is an official sellout if the streak is jeopardy of continuing.

As an ex-longterm UT fan, I thought most of them were classy. However, as a current Clemson fan (having actually GONE there), I was berated by a multitude of UT fans at the Peach bowl, since I have Tennessee tags and Clemson stickers. And this was before the game. None attacked me mind you, but about a quarter to half of the people walking by were belligerant. It didn't help that I was near a major pit of drinking, so I don't think the entire UT nation is at fault. However, upon returning to Tennessee, my flags were stolen off my car. It used to be Florida fans doing this to Tennessee fans, now the less educated (probably the ones that didn't even go to UT, can't spell University, chew gum and walk, etc) are acting the same way. As an aside, Miami fans have gotten classier that I have noticed lately.
