Do you honestly think that? These kid's didn't watch the Olympics. Playing fundamentaly sound doesn't sell shoes or get endorsments. The Olympics don't matter to these kids. So to think all the sudden these kids are going to learn how to shoot is rediculous. The world has not caught up to us. That's rediculous. And there won't be a big wave of new foreign players because almost none of them are good enough to play in the NBA. They beat us in the Olympics. Arroyo torched us, he looked like one of best players in the world and he is an average Point Guard at best in the NBA, that proves my point. So you don't think the "world" players are getting better...a few names that are damn good NBA players ... Ginobili, Stojacovich, Ming, Parker, Ilgauskus, Karelinko, Gasol, Divac, Sabonis, Giricek and I'm sure there are probably 20 I missed so what makes you think they aren't catching up,

I hate the name, the city, Stern for letting this happen...The NBA has PLENTY of teams and none with many big players on them. The NBA right now is in a mess and I don't see wahy adding another team in a terrible basketball area is going to help. New Orleans is terrible and now Charlotte all over again. Why. After what we just witnessed in the Olympics, there will be a large influx of foreign players, centers included...now that the "world" has proved they have caught up to us, the young American players should take to heart the fundamentals and start learning to shoot again ...

I think it has to be the Mavs, they have by far the most talented and deepest team out of the 3. Just look at their roster... C-Erick Dampier, Shawn Bradley PF-Dirk Nowitzki, Alan Henderson SF-Jerry Stackhouse, Josh Howard SG-Michael Finley, Marquis Daniels PG-Jason Terry, Devin Harris Calvin Booth could also play C or PF, I think this team has to be the best team in Texas. Wait I'm not through laughing yet, I guess your love for Devin Harris has clouded your thinking...Stackhouse is a loser who quit on his team, the Mavs have no one I repeat no one to play defense...do you think the Pistons won there CShip with their O...c'mon man at least be honest with us and you can lie to yourself all you want...it's between the Spurs and Rockets, Mavs aren't even a close third

1st the players that went and sacrificed there time and careers to try and win a gold medal 2nd... the coaches who tried to make those guys into a team, they just ran out of time 3rd ...all the selfish a**holes who didn't go to Athens, for being a bunch of panzies, you and I all know who they are 4th...Kobe for having an extreme lack of judgement, and not being able to keep his pecker in his pants 5th ...and finally the selection committee, for having no insught into the international game, and the foresight to include players that could have helped the USA win

denver is to deep for the spurs. the pg's are a wash but we got earl. lets say manu starts at sf melo got him beat. the sg spot barry has a advantage but the frontcourt denver wins by a landslide with nene as a bench player. I'm glad you're excited for Denver, but it is way to early to say they'll beat anybody...Bowen will start at the three, and I'm not sure what they will do with Gino, he might come off the bench for Bowen or Barry....but this debate will go on and we can't answer it either way...but I like the Spurs chances

actually i like rasho alot but i have also been following camby since the days of outplaying duncan in college. this is the first year he is coming off healthy and i see 15 12 and 3 from him. martin is a great on the ball defender and camby is a great weak side defender and that is a nasty combo. they will outplay duncan imo. plus is duncan gonna be tired? time will tell, and I still think you're delirious...the Spurs will beat Denver

i am extrmely delirous. i am going on 2 hours of sleep and i think it is making me halucanate. that has nothing to do with it though. i think the spurs will have a better record but how is he going to deal with martin and camby? it will be impossible even for the great one. Impossible, I think you're giving Camby to much credit and Rasho to little...

the spurs are still going down to the nuggets though. i don't think duncan can beat camby and martin by himself. rasho will really need to step up. the wolves won't be anything though because they are injury prone and old. Star are you delirious or something ...or just pissed that we lost, the Nuggets haven't even stepped on the floor and you have them beating the Spurs....

with Argentina beating the USA , lets just say I'm more pissed off at the lady who locked her 7 year old kid in the trunk while she went out drinking ( I'd kick her ass if she was here in front of me)than at the USA basketball team. The way they lost today was pathetic, but if you didn't see it coming you had blinders on. But, on a happier note, Ginobili and Scola (SA Spurs draft pick from 2003) are both on the Argentine team so, they could still win the gold and USA will have to settle for Bronze...wonder how that's going to taste and they got it, can't wait for Scola to sign next year should be a good compliment to Duncan....

The reason people are down on the team is because they are lazy, unmotivated, cocky, have no heart, play no defense, and to top it all off, they make loads more money than any of us will ever see. For the money they make, i expect a much better product on the floor. It has been embarrassing so far You can't say the whole team, I don't think Duncan or Jefferson are cocky...but as for Marbury, Iverson etc...well lets just say they don''t call him Starbury for nuttin'
