What do you look at to see if a player makes his teamates better?

Pierce over T-Mac? No. Pierce isnt very consistant either. The other day he had like 5-5-3. Yeah you can say T-Mac doesnt bring it every night, but even with him "not bringing it every night", he's still 2nd I think it is in scoring. And pretty consistant in where he stands in the league in certain things.
Kidd made the Nets better than Steph cause he is a good passer, or was at least a huge reason. Passing DOES make your teamates better. Just cause your a great passer, doesn't make your TEAM better.

THANK YOU I'VE BEEN SAYING THIS FOR A YEAR NOW TRACY MCGRADY CANNOT AND DOESNOT MAKE HIS TEAM BETTER. The guy is a good passer, is 6'10, with long arms, but he'd rather jack up shots and worry about himself. I put 100% of the blame for the Magic record on Tracy McGrady. HaHaHa.. since when doesnt assists count as making your teamates better? Hes #15 in assists right now, with the "worst team in the league." Id place the blame on the fact that the rest his teamates arnt hitting there shots, rebounding, stealing the ball, that of which McGrady cant do anything about besides doin it himself.

Buffs made a good point about the minutes per game. Carmelo put up near the same stats in college that Lebron did while dunking over 6'7" Centers. Another good point was made, if Carmelo did stay, Syracuse would pretty much dominate.
Lebron still makes alot of turnovers I do believe, and isn't that great of a shooter. He makes up for it with great passing and awareness. The first time I saw Lebron dissed on TV is when ESPN counted the number of times that Lebron didnt hussle back on defense and was caught watching the ball. Im not sure what the number was, but obviously it was alot to be dissing "King James"
Carmelo shoots too much, just like Glenn Robinson. Is kind of on the short side of playing small forward(just like Robinson) and isnt much of a passer(like Robinson).
