That really sucks. The Magic are currently under-achieving, and could be a contender in the east if like I said before, Gooden and Howard would step up. They have a good basis of players: McGrady, Giracek, Gooden, Howard, Lue, Garrity. IMO, those are some pretty decent names flying around....

Bull!!! You cant tell who's a good leader by looking at them. Besides, Duncan never shows any emotion!!!
BESIDES LOOKING AT THERE TEAMS, KG IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NBA...NO DOUBT!!!! ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE. GARNETT IS QUICKER, A BETTER DRIBBLER, BETTER PASSER, AND CAN SHOOT BETTER. THE ONLY CATEGORY DUNCAN IS BETTER AT IS BLOCKS AND FIELDGOAL %. NOW SHUT UP, AND LOOK AT PLAYOFF STATS, AND GO TO YOUR ROOM AND CRY BECAUSE YOU JUST GOT PROVEN WRONG.

So you would rather have a player that is a better leader then puts up better stats?
I would honestly would not care if I had a player on my team that averaged 20,10,5 ...and was the worst leader in the world. Duncan isn't a very vocal. How can you say he is a leader? A TEAM WHO WINS A CHAMPIONSHIP DOESNT WIN IT BASED ON LEADERSHIP, THEY WIN IT BECAUSE OF THE PLAYERS THEY HAVE/HAD. The Timber Wolves over the last 5 years have not had as good of players as the Spurs. Thus, they have not been as succesful as the Spurs .
Its not often you hear and announcer say: "Wow, that team has a great set of leaders, they should win the championship this year."
In order to win a championship, you have to be good first. Then thats were leadership comes in.

TD is not harder to cover than Garnett. If a Power covers him, he bounces outside. If a Small Forward covers him, he goes down low. Duncan is strictly post. Duncan is basically screwed cause of the zone now, because people can double him down low easily. Duncan makes a living off of one on one post moves and short jumpers. (11-13 feet)

People rate players too high on how the rest of there team is. KG is visually better than Duncan just by looking at stats. Now because Duncan has 2 rings he is better? Crazy. Thats just stupid. What if KG played for the Hawks or Cavaliers or somethin...thats why what team you play for is overated. I understand that when you play for a not- so- good team that the best player will shoot more, but KG now has a better team, and his stats are still better, then when his team was not so great.

I'd have to go with KG. I mean, other than him, all I hear is TD. A HUGE reason why TD is mentioned as being the best player in the NBA is becuase of his 2 titles, finals MVP, and season MVP. Garnett would of been a better player if he played for the Spurs. Duncan would not have as good of stats of KG. TD isnt as good of a creator as KG.

I think that both players's teams are way too good for them to win it. Its gonna be a player from the East. Maybe McGrady if his team gets it together, if not defiently Iverson.
[glow=red,2,300]Iverson will prolly win it, by the way it is looking.[/glow]
