You wish you had Favre and your team had fans like Green Bays, fans that sellout preseason games. What other team does that? No other team does that. That is why Green Bay has the best fans in the NFL. It is the only place where they are as dedicated as top level college program fans. There is also something to be said for treating your players right, not booing them when they're down 7-10 at halftime like Eagle fans.

TO is not Underrated. Brady has won 2 Superbowls and 2 MVP's. As much as I hate him he gets it done with nothing much on offense. Eli Manning can't be considered, he's already neck and neck with Kurt Warner. (Reported by teammates in Training Camp) You don't call any player a bust or overrated until there 3rd or 4rth year. I believe T.O. is underrated the same way Barry Bonds in underrated. Obviously everyone worth their salt thinks both Barry Bonds and T.O. are great players. I think they are better than that. I believe that the T.O. from 2 years ago up to the present is better than any other Wide Reciever was at any other time in history. He makes Defensive coordinators change their game like no one else in history has. (maybe the Randy moss of 3 years ago) About Tom Brady, Superbowl's are team, not player awards. He has played well in those two games, yet not amazing. He is not one of the 10 best QB's in the game currently, and most people believe he is, thats why he is overrated. If you disagree tell me who of the following list he is better than. Donovan McNabb Dante Culpepper Peyton Manning Steve McNair Trent Green Aaron Brooks Drew Bledsoe David Carr Michael Vick Mark Bulger

Smith over Rated do you pay any attention to football at all This is the most wrong thing I have heard ever Smith is not overrated no way he has the rushing record sorry this is one of the times I have to do it Smith is a Damn good play RB is the hardest posion to play cause when you call it quites your joins fall a part Smith should call it done but never is he overrated on way ever. Also You havn't seen Eli play in the NFL. Urlacher no way as much as I hate to say it he is one of the best he is one of the few LB that could take down Barry. You need to learn football whats next Barry overrated. Sorry, I've been away for a few days and missed this guy spewing incoherant babble at me, but i felt I had to respond. I had to read this thing like 3 times to figure out what in the hell this guy was saying, but i believe i got the gist of it. I think he said Emmitt Smith is not overrated because he has the NFL rushing record and because the Halfback position is difficult on the body. Well, first, he is right, the halfback position is very difficult on the body, but so is every line (both OLine and DLine), linebacker, fullback, strong safety, and quarterback position. But that has nothing to do with how a particular Halfback is underrated or overrated, after all, we are comparing him to other HB's. Secondly, the rushing record is as much a reflection of the team Emmitt had around him as it is a reflection of Emmitt. Emmitt had the best Offensive Line in football through most of the 90's in addition to a great Fullback, outsanding passing game and an outstanding defense. (Anybody who has played football understands that a good defense is imperative to a offensive running game, because the running game is best and most often used while ahead.) A player like Barry Sanders never had this talent around him, and there are a number of HB's that could do what Emmitt did if they were in Emmitt's shoes. Also, thats correct, i had not seen Eli play in the NFL prior to my comment, which I believe I acknowledged. He has impressed me so far in pre-season, yet i still believe he was not worth the number 1 pick nor the money he has been given as such, but I could be wrong. I do believe Urlacher is overrated because he is a Middle Linebacker that struggles with stuffing the run. He would still seem successful if he still had a pair of great run stuffing DT's in front of him, but he does not. He is a below average run defender. Frankly, i think he should move to the Strong Side LB position. Finally, I'm assuming "Barry" means Barry Sanders. If that is who you meant than, NO, Barry is not overrated. Barry Sanders is the second greatest HB of all time, behind only Jim Brown. (A list Emmitt Smith does not belong on.)

Underrated Marcus Stroud - He had just as many sacks as Kris Jenkins but had more tackles! How's that for underrated? I agree with you that Marcus Stroud is underrated. But Stats do not show the value of a Defensive Tackle. But, you are right Stroud is a Very Good DT. Yet, Jenkins is still the best.

Underrated: Kris Jenkins, Peter Bulware, Todd Heap, E.J. Henderson, Deshaun Foster, Darren Woody, Ben Hamilton, Shawn Alexander, Randy Thomas, Alge Crumpler, LaRoi Glover, Marcus Washington, Fred Smoot, Jon Kitna, Leonard Davis, Kevin Mawae, Terrell Owens (yeah, T.O.)
Overrated: Tom Brady, Emmit Smith, Brian Urlacher, Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor, Keyshawn Johnson, Warren Sapp, Jerome Bettis, Hugh Douglas, Tony Gonzalez, Jake Plummer, Eli Manning (I know its too early to say, but he's got BUST written al over him)

Juan Dixon will have a breakout season, haha. When Arenas, Thomas, and Brown come back he won't even play. Bobby Simmons for the Clippers got 30/6/6 last night. Juan Dixon is a weak, undersized SG who will be a backup. He's not going to have a breakout season. Bobby Simmons will be an All-Star! First off, i'm wonder how etan thomas and kwame brown will effect juan dixon's playing time. I didn't say anything about all-star, but, watch he will surprise a few people this year. He averaged 9.4 points per game last year, and expect him to break 15 a game this year, and make a bunch of steals.

Kwame may, but i have doubts.
Look for Juan Dixon to have a breakout year though.
He had 28 points, 5 steals, 4 assists, 3 boards, and even a blocked shot tonight.

This question has been asked in every country in the New World at least 50 in each forum. Great, LeBron lived up to the hype. The guy also can't play defense worth shit, and can do whatever he want's with the ball. This is where Melo' comes close to evening out the field, he played very good defense in the Olympics and playoffs, and works without the ball. That sets them two at the same level. Carmelo' surpassed the hype he got. Lets talk about that. Yes, Carmelo did, and yes, Lebron did. But Lebron can play D, he's not 1st team all-NBA defensively YET, but he will be.

If we're talking 3 point shots
All time - Steve Kerr Now - Reggie Miller (close second all time as well)
If a 2 will suffice than
All time - Michael Jordan Now - don't know, maybe Duncan, KG, Kobe, or AI

Well Yao also did not mistakingly pass the ball to the ref once a week like Francis did either. OK, but thats not a slefish issue. Maybe he's a horrible player, maybe he's a choker, but thats not a selfish thing. BTW, he's none of those, thats what we call a mistake. (I passed the ball to a player on the other team once myself)

There is absolutely no way it's Steve Francis. Not many players playing out of position lead their teams in points, rebounds, assists, and steals. He busts his A- on defense and plays well offensively. He shoots becuase he should shoot. Frankly, I think Yao took more dumb shots than Francis last year.

Supposedly he's had a number of contract offers, but he's enjoying playing in Europe where he's a star and makes pretty damn good money anyway.
